•••Commercials•••
adidas has been putting out a lot of new commercials lately. Some have been hilarious, some have been inspirational, all have been great.

In this area I will attempt to keep track of these commercials. Eventually I will have video posted here of some of the commercials I got on tape. If you happen to have any stills or video of these commercials, please email them to me.

Please Note: These aren't "official" names for these commercials. They are just names that I made up to distinguish which commercial I am talking about. If you know the real name of the commercial, please email me.

"There from the start" series
This series of commercials highlights world cup players from all over the world. They involve themes of playing soccer since childhood. The "There from the start" also refers to adidas supporting women's soccer from the beginning.
  • Shannon MacMillan - Shannon's commercial shows her parents sitting watching tv. Shannon hasn't been born yet. Her mom feels a kick and when her dad puts his hand on her mom's belly she kicks extremely hard.
  • Kristine Lilly - Starts with two proud parents watching their daughter take her first steps. Then she takes off running and dribbles a ball out of the yard. The shot turns into Kristine Lilly streaking down the field with at least 4 defenders chasing her. Spot ends with the text "There from the start" and the adidas performance logo.
  • Sun Wen - The scene is a courtyard in China. A young man picks up a ball and throws it to his younger sister, telling her to "Catch the ball". Instead she heads the ball back to him with vigor. The young man says "No, no, use your hands". The little girl nods and proceeds to head the ball back to him even harder. The shot turns to Sun Wen of China heading a ball into the back of the net.
  • Silke Rottenburg - Starts in 19?? Germany with a mom vaccuming the living room (notice the vintage adidas shoes on the floor). The mom picks up a ball off the floor and throws it to her daughter in her playpen. The daughter swats the ball away and yells "No!". The mom looks puzzled and throws the ball back again. The girl swats it again and yells "Deny!". The shot then turns to Silke Rottenburg, the German National Goalie defending her goal with zest. Spot ends with the text "There from the start" and the adidas performance logo.

In the US and Canda the song is "Mile High Express" by the Appleseeds
